My name is Richard Anthony Benedict, and I am part of the 99%. I am NOT a member of either the Republican Party, the Tea Party, the Westboro Baptist Church, or the National Rifle Association, and very proud of it! I hail from the not-so-sleepy little hamlet of Glen Burnie, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. I am currently a member of Severn Christian Church, in Severn, Maryland. I was formerly employed by Value City Department Stores in Harundale (Shoes and Receiving), Boscov's at Marley Station (Visual), and Burlington Coat Factory in Harundale (Mens and Mens' Suits). I enjoy reading everything from non-fiction to fantasy to science-fiction novels. (Especially Harry Potter. I've been a loyal Gryffindor for nearly a decade.) I also love crime dramas, science-fiction, and documentary television. I love football (soccer for the unwashed - DC United FC , Manchester United FC and the US National Teams, both men and women), motorsports, and ice hockey (Washington Capitals). I love rock music. (Bruce Springsteen, U2, Metallica, Rage Against The Machine, The White Stripes, Dave Matthews Band, etc.) I also like Blues, Folk Music, and some Jazz.
