About

I'm Totally confused about the world, all the time. That's me. Politics are hard to pin down, and people send ya mixed messages, and you don't know when it's okay to be angry or defensive or zealous. There are people that will watch the sunset with you, but they aren't any good on cloudy days, or when you're too sick to get out of bed. Some people know exactly where to be standing at every waking moment of their fun-filled lives. They know which band is playing at which venue, and who's worth paying four dollars to see. Which coffee shops have the most character. Which movies are gonna be too crowded so that you can't make out with your girl during the the beginning and middle. You can grab 'em by the belt, or by the collar, or by the spikes, if you're so ambitious. No matter what, though, you'll never be anything more than a passenger to these people. There are the artists too- don't forget them. Look through those big glasses and I'll bet you'll catch a glimpse of that beautiful soul, touching God at all times. Watch her fingers strike the keys and drag the pencil, brush, eraser. She, herself, might as well be a painting until tomorrow's LiveJournal Debut that will change the fuckin' planet until someone else posts. Here comes Vin Diesel and Kanye and Ani and Michael Moore and The Pope of the United States of the World. Generals of virtue and violence will be kicking out the youngsters for a new generation. Preaching to the choir, yeah preaching to the stupid. Bring about a new basement meeting that isn't so self aware as it was in the Nineteen-Seventies. The kids who have it written on the elastic strap in their briefs, "Attack those who cannot defend, and befriend those who can." I don't know where I fall, here. I'm not depressed, just a little concerned, that's all. I'm absolutely ecstatic to be here, a part of this. These are strange times, and I bet the old people don't know how to feel, as I won't someday. I'm gonna watch the fossil fuels run out, and check out the way we all adapt. Seeing things speed up the way they've been. Man, this place is awesome, and since I have no education, minimal spare time, no cash to play around with, and no physical disabilities; all I can really do is take a long walk, out into that world. Could be a stroll to the gas station, could be love, leading me in a diffrent direction. Maybe I'll see you there, with a smile on my face and a beer in my hand!
