I was born in Norfolk, VA January 7th, 1962. My father was in the Navy so we traveled alot. I lived in Africa(Morroco) for a few years, Then my dad was transferred to Great Lakes , Illinois. I lived on base ,started Kindergarden on the base, and was transferred to Little Fort School to finish the year . My best friend growing up was Troy Jensen. I have three younger siblings , Kevin , Timothy, and Micheal.At first we lived on Ballentine street but then re located to another home in Waukegan 2836 Yeoman . I became a member of Cub Scouts Troop 14 at Little Fort School, and went thru all the ranks you can as Cub Scout, then going into Boy Scouts , I was a Life Scout with one merit badge away from becoming an Eagle Scout one of scoutings highest honors. I was also a Brotherhood Member of The Order Of The Arrow unfortunately. Work and sports became a priority. I went to Jack Benny Jr High , where I ran track and Cross Country. I was pretty fast back then lol thanks to the daily being chased home from school routine. I started Waukegan East in the fall of 1976, and ran Cross country. I got hurt pretty bad that year and track was put on the back burner. During my Junior year I met my Wife . I was working at Wendys on Lewis Ave. During my High School years my best friends were Daniel Woods and Mike Juppe. My father passed away towards the end of 1979. After graduating in 1980 I worked as a manager at Wendys . That year my mother was hit and killed by a drunk driver(Cynthia Kreason),my two younger brothers were sent to North Carolina to live with my Aunt . Then in 1981 I married my high school sweety Jon Marie Rubich. During this time the period of the lost 80's I met my "Lil Brother " Micheal Fassbinder, oh the adventures we had .I got a job at the Lake County Youth home where I worked maintenance for 15 years. I Worked for a great Guy , Ike Johnson till he retired in 1998. During this time I ran alot and met up with my best friend , his name was Robert Hansen. Sadly and Ironically he passed away in May of 95 at a race Called Becky Bells Running With Angels . In 1983 and 1987 I was blessed with two children , Amber and Nick. We left Waukegan in 1998 to move to Lakewood ,Colorado.I decided to try my hand at truck driving . I've driven semi trucks for over 10 years. I think during this time I should've signed up to be a crash test dummy. I've been in two rollovers , one in 2006 and one in 2008. During my semi driving years. My Children became parents and thus making me a grand parent to three wonderful Children , Osbourne ((Ozzy)), Santino ((Sonny)) and Angelique. I used to work as a maintenance worker...... at Westland Tower Apartments in Lakewood,Co where in July my left hand ... and try fooling a kid on this one I lost part of my pinky so now when I ask how many fingers....... They get this really puzzled look on their face. I'm now employed again as a truck driver for NAVAJO .My story continues, We moved from Lakewood, Colorado to Aurora ,Colorado in December of 2014 into a home we had built for us .
