Graduated from Edmond High School in 1967, from University of Central Ok in 1971 with a B.A. and in 1974 with a Masters Degree. Graduated from OU in 1984 with a Ph.D. Taught school from 1971-1980 then served Edmond Public Schools, Mustang Schools, OKC Schools, and Midwest-City Del-City Schools as an administator until 1994. Served as Superintendent of Mid-Del Schools from 1994-2005. Served as Vice-President for University Leadership at the University of Central OK from July 2005-February 2010. Married to Bob for almost 30 years.
