I've been a teacher for 23 years, mainly in special education. These children have a reason they can't work productively, the rest of the normal population do not, which frustrates me the most. We all need to be thankful for and use the gifts God has given us. Professionally, I am proudest of becoming a national certified teacher in special education. Personally, I've been married to the love of my life going on 25 years this June. I don't know what I would ever do without him. My children are my world. I can never repay my daughter enough for bringing our family closer to God, she is such an inspiration. My son is teaching me greater patience. He is visually impaired just like my father. He overcomes barriers and adapts very well. My parents have been with me through it all and I'm so happy that I have them and can rely on their support when needed. I love my family, and so wish I was closer to all my cousins to stay in touch. I am foremost a Christian trying to become more Christ like in my words and actions. I want to be Christ like, not just talk it.
