Born in Hartsville, SC and grew up in Florence. I graduated from McClenaghan HS 1964, and then from USC in 1969. I worked in sales for 28 years starting with Union Carbide Corp. in Atlanta, and then Maremont Corp. in Chicago, and finally with Dixie Electronics in Columbia, SC. I worked with Florence School District One for 14 years(Career Counselor) before retiring in June, 2008 and moving to Myrtle Beach to join my wife, Lyn. I do some substitute teaching at MB Christian Academy and really like the students and staff there. We were blessed in January, 2010, with the birth of Lyn's first grandchild, Landon. He is a beautiful, healthy boy who lights up the room with his smiles and grins. Chris (Lyn's son) and wife Cynthia are the proud parents of baby Landon. Life is good, and I am very grateful for all my blessings.
