Since my original posting I have been blessed with 2 more granddaughters. My first ever granddaughter born in Dakar, Senegal in West Africa this past July, Phoebe Joy ~ she is precious. She will celebrate her 1st birthday here in the USA. My son and his wife had a baby girl ~ Isabel Renee Gilreath this past October. Latest word from the Bell's ~ the paperwork has been completed and the social worker is in the process of translating the paperwork and making sure everything is in order when it comes to the adoption. WE ARE SO EXCITED and can not wait to meet the newest grandchildren-to-be to our CRAZY family. Cecil and I moved to McDonough, GA in January 1979 where we lived for almost 28 years with our 4 children. Upon their graduation from college we decided to move to Fayette County to be closer to our church. I currently work with Cecil at his HVAC company located off 19/41 in Jonesboro, Georgia. This is a family owned business started in 1993. God has been good to us and over the years Cecil's company has grown. Sarah and I work in the office along with my Mother. Luke works with his dad doing service, sales and installations for our residental and commercial customers. We also have other family members a brother, son in law, a niece and a couple of cousins. Currently, Cecil and I are for the first time in a long time are experiencing the empty nest syndrome. For a period of time we were blessed with having the Flintoff''s living with us while preparing for the trip overseas for language study and now Senegal a new place to call home. The Bell's lived with us on two different occasions. The first time as they worked on their new house in Fairburn, Ga. Years later Emily and Paul would live with us for a couple of months as they completed their classes before moving to Bosina, the beginning of the next chapter in their lives. Amanda our oldest is now living in Senegal ~ Africa along with her husband Eric and their two children Hannah and Malachi, Phoebe and the newest member to the family "Oreo" their new puppy. They are still in the adjustment period of getting use to a new culture and the HEAT!!!! We plan to visit in January 2011. I have always wanted to go to Africa and now I have family there so I have a reason to go! Sarah, Dave, Aubrey, Caleb and Elizabeth are currently living in Hampton where Dave works as a HC police officer ~ he loves his job. Sarah is a stay at home mom and works with me a few hours a couple of days a week. They also have a new dog ~ Skittle who is now a companion with Luke their other dog. Luke married Nicole in January 2009, and she is just beautiful!!! One of those who is beautiful from the inside out. She loves the Lord and is excited about life. They recently purchased a repo in Fayetteville, GA. They are in the process of fixing up the house and hoping one day to bring home a few of their own children to their first fixer upper. Our youngest daughter and Luke's twin sister Emily is living with Paul in Bosnia. Their language study is going well and they are now settling into their apartment. They have visited Bosnia on several different occasions and feel that their place is working with the Reitz family. We are looking forward to seeing how God answers prayers for Paul and Emily in the near future. We are so thankful for Skype ~ especially since two of our four are living in different parts of the world. They are currently serving with CrossWorld. We have attended Berachah Bible Church since 1979. The church is located on Corinth Road in Fayette County between Highway 85 and Highway 54. If you are looking for a church that teaches God's Word come visit with us. I would love to introduce you to MY CHURCH FAMILY. They are the best and I look forward to spending eternity with ALL of them one day. For those of you who know me well know that there is ALWAYS something going on at the Gilreath house. So stay tuned you might get a laugh or two over the next few weeks. Sarah is out of town for the week so I am hoping for a little rest this week. Keep in touch! I look forward to updating my bio as my family grows... God Bless!!
