My webpage: www.Kerrybomb.com "Why are you trying so hard to fit in when you were born to stand out?" What do you wanna know? Just ask. I love to talk about me!! I was born and raised on Long Island. Moved to AZ in 2005. I am a parent, a retired police officer and a drummer. Got into playing in bands in the late 80's and early 90's during the hair band era. Started playing in Jr. High after watching a cousin play drums in a very popular band as a kid and getting the bug to be like him, going out late playing, touring and just having fun. I took a long hiatus from music after starting a family. Returned to music in 2010 and have been having the time of my life! I have been blessed with awesome bands and have had the opportunity to share a stage with punk rock legends The Adicts and D.I. (Casey Royer from Social Distortion and The Adolescents). Kid Dee, the drummer for the Adicts, told me he was "smitten" with me and that after seeing me he didn't need to even play his show... heeheehee! Also shared a stage withRED, Bang Tango (hair band I used to like), The Ataris and Nothington (Warped Tour veterans). In 2013 I decided to make the change to Country music (my secret love) and have been having the time of my life! My first country gig was with Nashville recording artist Matt Farris who was achieving success with two singles on radio and charting on Billboard and Music Row charts. I had the privilege of opening for Colt Ford and then the awesome honor of opening for Joe Diffie, Tyler Farr, Colt Ford and Jason Aldean on the main stage at Arizona Country Thunder Music Festival. I also performed live on Good Morning Arizona and appeared again on AZ Family during Country Thunder and also got to perform live on stage with country star Jason Michael Caroll. Recently I have been doing some work with Hollywood Yates who you may remember as Wolf on American Gladiators. He is also a World Champion rodeo clown/bull fighter, an actor and now a kick ass country singer. I also play for my country cover band Arizona Moonshine. www.ArizonaMoonshineBand.com I’ve had one heck of a crazy ride in this life and now I live for today. I wanna make the most out of every day and rekindle the love for life that I once had as a young child. In the words of Oliver Wendell Holmes: “Many people die with their music still in them. Why is this so? Too often it is because they are always getting ready to live. Before they know it, time runs out.” I say, Don’t die with the music in you!! Live your life, enjoy today, have fun, follow your heart. It's never too late to be the person you were meant to be! I am probably one of the most down to earth people you will ever meet. I’m easy going and I love to laugh. Laughter is the best medicine. Well, maybe second best… ;) I believe in Karma. I believe we will be rewarded for our good deeds. I am honest almost to a fault. I have driven back to stores to return money when given too much change. I cannot lie, it's written all over my face. I wear my emotions on my sleeve. I sometimes think it is ignorant of man to produce a book and say it is the word of god when god's existence is way above our comprehension levels. I am accepting and open to all religions so long as they don't preach hate and intolerance. Unfortunately I have seen, experienced and carry emotional scars from the devastating effects of religion preaching hate! I was a first responder at the World Trade Center in NY City after the terror attacks of 9/11/01 and I have seen more horror than any human should ever lay eyes on. This may destroy my punk rock image but I was in law enforcement for 15 years before retiring with a medical pension, due to a line of duty knee injury and two subsequent surgeries. I was a New York State Court Officer from 1995-2000 when I left to join the NYPD. I was with the NYPD from 2000 to 2005 when I moved to Arizona and joined up with a small valley department which ultimately led to the end of my career. All I have to say about my time in law enforcement is that there are thousands and thousands of men and women in that profession with big hearts, dedication and a willingness to put their lives on the line for every one of us at any time. Police Officers get a bad rap due to the few bad apples in the bunch. I prided myself on being fair and honest and giving as many breaks as possible because I truly believed that sometimes a warning was more influential than a ticket or an arrest. Let's put it this way... I was the cop you wanted to get stopped by. :) Unless you were a real criminal... I put a lot of them away in my time!! I have two amazing children! One girl and one boy. They are my whole world!! They have been through a lot for kids and have remained strong and supportive and are just overall great kids with big hearts!! OK, you ready for this? I have a big secret…. ... ... ... ... ... ... ... brace yourself…. ... ... ... ... ... . ... ... ... this might be shocking… ... ... ... ... ... ... ok, here it is… ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Tigers love pepper, they hate cinnamon. Hahahahahahahaha! Remember, don’t take this life too seriously, you’ll never get out of it alive! ;) Now you know me… Love me or leave me.
