Stay happy.
Take time to enjoy the little things
Money and personal belongings are very toxic to attach to. If you ever wake up one day and discover you are broke and have few posessions but your satisfied anyways, you have acheived true sucess in life. We never own our possessions, instead they own us.
Do not work yourself to death in effort to acheive more wealth. Living like this will never bring you lasting satisfaction and will often drive you to misery.
The cost of satisfaction is a lot lower than most of us realise.
Focus on avoiding selfish actions and ideas.
Forgive
Never seek vengeance, this will only distract away from whoever did you wrong and rarely deter others from doing you wrong, contrary to what most people beleive. This is one of the hardest to grasp facts for most people but it is very true. Vengeance almost always only leads to futher problems and betrayal.
View everyone as the same as yourself. There is no good or bad, people are not evil, they are simply misguided. Nobody does bad simply to be bad.
Avoid violence even when provoked. Throwing fists should always be a last resort. Avoid altercation motivated by concern of how others may foolishly perceive your passiveness. Fight only in defense, not to establish dominance.
Life is not a competition. We should praise everyone that tries to better themselves or the world. We should also try to help everyone we can in persuit of these goals.
The greatest gift you can give anyone is your own personal development. Think about it.
Question everything, even the practice of questioning everything.
