Reggae Singer/Song writer Warrior King is one of those people. Warrior King is a Jamaican Reggae Artiste. His real name is Mark Dyer, born in Kingston on 27th July, grew up in Clarendon during his early years, then later moved to Portmore. Warrior King’s music brings messages of the King and of love to all people of all races. Warrior King believes that education is the key to success and hopes that his music will serve to convey the teachings of His Imperial Majesty, Haile Selassie I. He also believes that as a Rastafarian, you don’t just sing music but you sing music with a purpose and a mission. Warrior King has recently worked in the studios on his album called "Love Is In The Air. The new album consists of 10 tracks including some of his best songs to date and two of his big new singles such as "Wanting You" and "Wanna Give You Love” produced by Rootz Warrior Production. Warrior King has recently embarked on a hectic touring schedule of Europe. Also he has been to several Caribbean Islands, many states in America, Japan and many other places where he has a growing number of fans. He has collaborated with Artiste such as Beres Hammond, Barrington Levy, Black Judah, Jah Mali, DYCR, Bescenta, Max Romeo, Linval Thompson, Neo Sullan Smith, Natesha Stream and he is open to collaborate with many more Artiste. Warrior King came on the international reggae scene in the early 2000 using his gift of song to spread Jah truth throughout the world. In 2001, his single Virtuous Woman graced the airwaves internationally and became number one throughout many countries. Virtuous Woman was an international smash, causing “ The Jamaica Observer” (one of Jamaica’s most popular newspaper) to declare the singer as an artiste that made a difference in 2001. Since that auspicious beginning, Warrior King's compositions have consistently charted not only in his native Jamaica, but throughout the entire Caribbean, as well as New York, London, Tokyo and beyond. His debut album Virtuous Woman was released shortly thereafter, also featuring a handful of top charting singles including Breath of Fresh Air, Power to Chant and Jah is Always There which was a summer smash on Atlanta's More Fire chart. The song Never Go Where Pagans Go was also on VP Records highly influential Reggae Gold 2002 CD, this even further raised the artiste's profile. Warrior King is a reggae artiste who takes is career seriously. He says that he ensures that every song has a different style and the message emphasizes purity and truth. He says that when people hear his songs it should uplift their hearts, minds, and souls in a positive way. He currently carries a buzz internationally and continues to work his craft. His future looks bright as he continues to improve and build his catalogue and his fan base.
