Happy I'm a Southern Texas girl, and can visit frequently. Moved to Calif age three, so Father could open first drive-in theaters in CA. Lived in the screen (3-bedroom house) of San Jose Drive in theater. Attended First Christian Church, SJ where I met what would become life long friends. Only sibling John born when I was 6. Loved my happy childhood. Passed senior life guarding at 16, and WSI at 18. Worked in Aquatics for City of SJ. Attended SJ City College, then Chapman College. Education interrupted when married to childhood sweetheart and neighbor Ronnie. Have 3 children: Sydney, John, and Stacey, & 6 Granddaughters! Saddened over death and loss of our kind Dad to heart disease in 1973. Worked as Ed. Asst. & yard duty for Cupertino School District at Meyerholz El, then as health clerk for Campbell Union High School District, for Blackford HS and Prospect HS. Returned to college in 1989 to finish education. Earned BSN, RN, and PHN, then hired as school nurse in special education. Returned to school for credential, MS, PHN, and CNS. Ronnie and I have 5 beautiful and talented granddaughters. and one precious great granddaughter. We enjoy classes and friends at the YMCA, esp water activities, and are active in our church, close to home. We spend a lot of time with our extended family for celebrations, holidays, and summer vacations. I am thankful for all my family, my friends, my faith, and joy in my life. Lost my dear brother John Oct. 2010 to pancreatic cancer. Thankful for his life of 61 years, and for his family, his wife Joan, and their daughter Kate. Kate & her husband Mark have an adorable son Caden. Thankful for my husband Ronnie. Missing my Mother Mary who died June 7, 2013 of a stroke.
