I am blessed to have had my life shaped by faith and family. My understanding of the Christian life is developed around John Wesley's emphasis that faith and works belong together. Faith transforms the believer. It is the grace of God that empowers us to do good works. Ethical action becomes spontaneous once we have the Holy Spirit working in us. Good works, a strong work-ethic, and high principles were the values passed on to me by loving parents. I pray and strive to pass these same values on to our children and those I serve.
