I am a graduate of the University of Southern California ( USC) with BFA and MBA degrees. I served 8 years in the Army National Guard. I met my wife Cheryl at USC. We were married August 4, 1961. We moved to Indio after last graduating from USC in 1963 to join the family business, a citrus growing, packing & shipping company. We had 3 children, 1 girl & 2 boys. I obtained my California Real Estate license in April, 1977 as a secondary source of income. We moved to La Quinta in 1978. When the family business sold in the early 1980's real estate became my primary business. I was an independent real estate broker for 25 years until I joined Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and have been there since 2002. My wife died of cancer February 21, 2009.
