We have been married 27 years now. Don't get to tournament Catfish anymore since Buddy has had cancer last year, but hope to do more bass and panfishing this summer. We love spending time with the grandchildren, but at our age get tired quickly. I have killed 4 deer this fall, plus a turkey. It looks like my hunting days have improved in my old age. We still have another week of hunting season to go, but the weather is not looking to great for the remaining week. We find that being retired we miss being out and meeting all the new people we met when we had our business, but don't miss the work. It's my fun to keep up with old friends on the internet, and Buddy spends his spare time playing spades and hearts on the computer. We are raising rabbits now, and they are really good protein and delicious. We have peacocks, chickens and ducks and enjoy watching the ducks on our pond, and one of our male peacocks strutting in the back yard. Our son with Downs Syndrome is in daycare during the week, but we now get help with him after daycare each day and some on weekends. It's a blessing since it's hard for our old bones to get down on the floor to bathe him and do some of the things necessary with a handicapped man/child. Bubba will always be my baby, even though he's now 25 years old. We love him just the way he is, and he brings a lot of love and pleasure into our lives. Buddy & I have been married 28 years in April. We have 9 grandchildren, and are retired. We have a son at home with Downs Syndrome, and love to fish and hunt. We hunt Deer now because Buddy can't walk to hunt turkeys anymore, and I have been hunting black powder rifles, as well as shotguns and high-powered rifles. I'm a pretty good marksman for an "Old, grey-haired" lady. I love spending time with friends when possible, and am working out at the gym 4 times a week. I want to lose more weight, and get myself into great shape.
