A Montgomery resident since 1998, Sam Wallace has been involved in theatre since 1978. His first performance was as the Tin Man in a production of The Wizard of Oz at the age of fourteen. Since then, he has earned a B.A. in Speech Communication from Lipscomb University and an M.F.A. in Theatre Arts from the University of Louisville. He has performed professionally with the Tennessee Repertory Theater, Nightingale Theater, Galveston Island Outdoor Musicals, Theatre Parthenos, and Chaffin’s Barn Dinner Theater. He has also taught on the College and University level at Lipscomb University, Nashville Tech, Middle Tennessee State University, Faulkner University, Virginia College Mintgomery and Auburn University Montgomery. He has directed thirty six plays including The Importance of Being Earnest, Annie Get Your Gun, Oklahoma!, You Can’t Take it With You, The Trojan Women, Narnia, 1776, Clue: The Musical, Halo, Nunsense, 100 Lunches, and most recently The Curious Savage.
