So long as we remain attached to beliefs, theories, ideas, and in general all that is within the mind, we remain in darkness. Real Gnosis is knowledge acquired without thought or belief. To remain enslaved by the current of life has no purpose. "Going with the flow.. ." is not the cool thing to do, that we think it is. Its actually a very bad thing to do. We cannot trust our own minds. The human intellect(Ego) is a legion of false beliefs, or psychological aggregates. Each with its own contradictory agenda that we call our self, but its not the real self. Our intellect Is part of the tool kit we are given with our body. In other words, We have to become a vessel for gods will. The vessel must be emptied out. To do that we have to die psychologically. We must be hollow as a reed. Then resurrect in the image of God."
