About

Went to a country school in Cross Plains called Park School. Very fond memories growing up there. Came to Madison and started 3rd grade at Lincoln, and my 3rd grade teacher was Mrs Hahn. A wonderful and kind teacher. Quite an ajustment coming from a country school to a public school. I also attended Marquette (very tough school), then went to East High School and graduated in 1968. Married in 1969 to Leo Peterson, from Richland Center. He was a Marine, and we were stationed in San Dieago, California and Quantico, Virginia. I loved being a military wife. I enjoyed traveling and meeting other military families. We had two son's. Lance, is now 40, married and has no children. Scott, is 34 & married to Amy. They have a beautiful daughter (my only grand child) Morgan, who is 9 mo's and the apple of my eye. Leo and I divorced in 1979 and I remarried in 1987. I became an international flight attendant in 1989. I flew with Northwest Airlines for 16 years. The first half of my career, I flew all over Euroupe, and the second half, everything south of Tokeyo, to the orient. It was an exciting and wonderful career, which gave me the opportunity to fly all over the world, experiencing so many cultures. Flying also gave me the opportunity to go back to school. I studied achitecture and interior design. I really enjoyed going back to school and my mind was like a sponge.....soaking up everything I read. Ken, my second husband and I divorce after 14 yrs. I retired from the airlines in 2005. I now live in Stoughton, Wi. My children live close by, but I intend to move to Sarasota, Florida, with my childhood friend of 45yrs, Linda Meyers. We're going to sell everything, pack up our cars, and head to Florida. No snow for us next year! This is the third stage of our life and the final curtain. We have a bucket list of things we plan on trying and doing. We plan on having one hell of a good time during our retirement and enjoying every minute of it!
