In 2003 I was diagnosed with cancer of the tonsil which had spread to the lymph nodes in my neck. Treated with radiation & surgery. Had a reocurrence in 2004 - lost a third of my lower right jaw. Had another bout in 2008 - very minor; handled with laser surgery. I am alive and well, slightly deformed, and speak as though I've had a stroke... but hey! - I'm here!
