Born in Bremerton - I consider myself a native Washingtonian. Mostly lived in Port Orchard.Once a finish carpenter of 45years, the previous 14 or so years I was self employed,(Durco Trim,LLC), sometimes had a crew of over 18 men but got into a couple of jobs (2-government ) that cost me my business and the start of the recession of 07-08, home,boat and wife. In 2007 closed Business. Construction as we knew it is gone forever, the recession has forced me to retire for now..... Down but not out.
