I am an Orthodox Catholic priest and for the past several years I worked as a full time Chaplain and Addictions Specialist until my retirement on March 1st, 2012. I am still active in my role as a Chaplain in the USAF Auxiliary (Civil Air Patrol) and hold the rank of Lt. Col. I am presently Pastor and Superior of the Orthodox Catholic Community of St. Thomas the Apostle. Our ministry is to the alcoholic and chemically addicted. We are a Western Rite Community and celebrate a Mass similar to the pre-Vatican II Mass, but it is all in English. This is a change from the Eastern Rite Liturgy which I followed for the past several years. 33 A few years ago I lost my wife of years after she lost her battle with Cancer. I have two grown daughters and two grand children. Also, my chihuahua "Minty" who loves me without question.
