There's enough stress in the rest of your life to let bad shots ruin a game you're supposed to enjoy. Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence. Effective leadership is putting first things first. Effective management is discipline, carrying it out. A loving person lives in a loving world. A hostile person lives in a hostile world. Everyone you meet is your mirror. Discipline is the habit of taking consistent action until one can perform with unconscious competence. Discipline weighs ounces but regret weighs tons. To get the full value of joy, you must have someone to divide it with. The real winners in life are the people who look at every situation with an expectation that they can make it work or make it better. Any fool can make things bigger, more complex and more violent. It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage - to move in the opposite direction. You do not succeed because you do not know what you want or you don't want it intensely enough.
