John 19:30... Look it up. It has been a very long haul, some 30 years plus, actually. But even though I gave up several times, and others around me did as well, God does not let go. And so, by His grace and mercy alone, and through ceaseless prayers, I am now a pastor of the Luthera Church Missouri Synod [3-3-12], serving the people at Love Lutheran Church in East Greenbush, NY. I wish that all of you who remember me as a teenager wanting to be a pastor, or an undergrad at Concordia Bronxville who started the pre-Sem program, or those having witnessed God's reclaiming of what was becoming a wasted existence could be with me on this day. I know you will be there in prayer. And now for the real work: reaching those who do not know the loive of Christ as we do, building the Kingdom for His glory by a collaborative ministry that will create affordable independent senior housing on our campus, and an endless opportunity to worship the King of Kings. If you are ever in the area on a Sunday, we worship at 10 AM. Soli Deo Gloria Oh, and about John 19:30 - concerning all the studying to this point, the rebellion and the doubts, in our Lord's words: "It is finished."
