Born in Snyder Tx. Daddy was a rough neck on an oil rig. I contracted Polio at 3 months old. My family moved to Dallas so I could go to Scottish Rite Hospital. They Saved my life. I had bracess just like Forest Gump until the age of 6. Special shoes until about 11. You know how kids can be mean to someone who is different. Let me tell you I was different. You know what, I can't remember anybody being mean to me. The Muscles were 75% destroyed in both my feet and my left arm. It never got in my way. I could do anything anybody else could do and usually better. My mom told me that I had been blessed and to take advantage of my special gift. I believed her. I know now she was right. Take what God has given you, look straight ahead with love in your heart and sweat on your forehead, Inner Peace and Happyness wiil always be yours.
